Our Work

A little sample of what we do…

Ambivert Creative has provided creative and graphic design services for a wide variety of clients, each with their own unique needs and goals — and each came away with an organizational identity they were proud to call their own.

If you’d like us to do the same for you, please get in touch!

Client: Unanube

Type: Logo | Print

Unanube is a company with the goal of harvesting rain — and turning it into pure, bottled drinking water.

They needed to secure venture funding for this undertaking, and asked Ambivert Creative to create a logo, packaging design, and a concept ad for presentation.

The inspiration for the project was the slogan “We ♥ Rainy Days.” We took this slogan and integrated it into all aspects of the presentation package: from the shape of the logo and the bottle, to the ad concept and photography.

Photography for the ad was provided by Matt Godwin of Matt Godwin Films, keeping this project “all in the family.”

Client: PostPolitical.us

Type: Logo | Web

The goal of PostPolitical.us was to highlight alternatives to politics-as-usual, and instead to promote community-oriented alternatives for direct action — projects that affect peoples’ daily lives in a more direct way.

The color scheme is vibrant, energetic, and cheerful; and works as contrast to the typical red, white, and blue theme of American electoral politcs. Further, each color is related to a particular project type, giving a visual taxonomy to the site’s list of alternatives.

The logo is dynamic, showing the motion of moving past divisive politcs toward a brighter future of community and mutual aid.

Client: Law Office of Jeremy Maldonado

Type: Logo | Web | ^ client list

Former prosecuting attorney, Jeremy Maldonado, was making the switch to his own private defense practice, and needed an identity and web presence that would distinguish him from the sea of competitors in his particular field.

Further, the identity needed to avoid the common American legal-system clichés (e.g., scales, Justice statues, American flags, bald eagles, etc.) in order to avoid alienating his recent-immigrant target-market — as well as aiding in the first goal of standing out from the competition.

Ambivert Creative was able to accomplish this by using a politically neutral color palette, and stylized, internationally recognizable symbolism in the form of “a bird flying free” (the bird is also a subtle “M” for “Maldonado”).

Client: Creating Confident Leaders

Type: Logo | Web | Print | ^ client list

Creating Confident Leaders (CCL) wanted a brand identity and web presence that would differentiate them in the crowded leadership and presentation-training field. Since this field is an especially personalized one, it was of primary importance that the brand reflect the personality of the company’s proprietor, Catherine Case Larson.

This was accomplished by working very closely with Ms. Larson during every step of the process, and using her feedback and feeling to guide the final result. Through this method; fine-tuning color choice; and maintaining a constant personality throughout all aspects of the brand, website, and copy; Ambivert Creative was able to provide an identity for CCL that her friends, colleagues, and clients recognized as “definitely her.”

Client: Chocolate Baby

Type: Logo | Web | Print | ^ client list

Chocolate Baby wanted a brand that proclaimed “elegantly fun” to all who saw it. Catering to chic mothers and domestic artists; Chocolate Baby sought to give their boutique retail business luxury-label panache, tied together with handmade charm.

Ambivert Creative was able to accomplish this by allowing product photos to be the stars; held together by a trendy, friendly color-scheme and elegant font-selections.

The client made it very clear that her boutique products were the embodiment of her personality — and by extension, her business’s. Thus, we made sure to showcase them in the best light, and to use copy that reenforced that core personality — and we think the end result is “Yummy,” indeed!

Client: Archangel Brewery

Type: Logo | Web | Print | ^ client list

A microbrewery founded by a passionate homebrewer who was looking to expand from hobby to livelihood, Archangel Brewery wanted an identity that proclaimed a connection to both the natural and the supernatural.

The use of natural textures evokes the effects of aging and the seasons on the boldly divine flavors Archangel Brewery produces in its creations.

By using traditional imagery of angels with a modern twist, the connection of ancient brewing to the divine was allowed to shine without being stuffy or pompous.

Client: JustLive.us

Type: Logo | Web | ^ client list

JustLive.us is a site promoting and exploring self-sufficiency, mutual aid, and community support toward a goal of becoming less reliant upon the state/corporate infrastructure that tends to define life in the modern world.

The colors chosen symbolize the natural elemements that support life and health, while the logo is a play on the traditional anarchist circle-A symbol — but using the letters “JL” to represent the site’s name.

Each of the site’s main section headers use a different set of custom-designed symbols to represent the various subjects touched on in that section, while maintaining the same scheme for continuity and flow from one section to the next.

Client: JustGetThere.us

Type: Logo | Web | ^ client list

An alternative news and information site that evolved from a platform that sought to provide news and resources for activists. JustGetThere’s design uses a bold, powerful color scheme meant to draw attention and make a statement.

The anonymous “mannequin” figure was used throughout the design in various poses and settings to provide a sense of continuity focused on the personal aspect of the site’s goals.

Client: Bracket Films

Type: Logo | Web | ^ client list

A play on the term “bracketing” in photography, the concept of brackets is threaded through the entire site and identity for this indie film company. Each section of the site is set in a stylized bracket, giving a dynamic but balanced feel to the layout.

The black and white color scheme relates back to the photography-inspired origins of the company name, as well as the noir nature of their productions.
